Council Bill 2657 was read the second time by council bill number only. e Ms. Schue moved, seconded by Mr. Obie, that the bill be approved and given final passage. Roll call vote. All councilors present voting aye, the bill was declared passed and number 19155. F. Public Works Contract Awards (tabulations attached) 1. Alley paving between Ferry Street and Patterson Street from 17th Avenue to 18th Avenue (Job #2067); 2. Paving and storm sewer on Hawthorne Street from 500 feet west of Berntzen Road to Berntzen Road (Job #2099); 3. Paving, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer in Willow Creek Road and Willow Creek Circle from the intersection of 18th Avenue and Willow Creek Road to 2200 feet west; and sanitary sewer and storm sewer from western terminus of Willow Creek Circle to 800 feet south (Job #2094). Mr. Gleason introduced Don Gilman, Public Works Department, who explained that approval on Job #2094 should be given subject to filing of the plat, which would probably happen within two weeks. Public hearing was opened. There being no public testimony, public hearing was closed. e Ms. Schue moved, seconded by Mr. Obie, to award the contracts as recommended in staff memo of June 21, Job # 2094 to be subject to filing of the final plat. Roll call vote; motion carried unanimously. II. ORDINANCES FOR SECOND READING A. Findings of Fact Ms. Schue moved, seconded by Mr. Obie, to adopt the findings of fact outlined in staff memo of June 21, 1983. Roll call vote; motion carried unanimously. B. Levying Assessments CB 2651--An ordinance levying assessments for alley paving between Ferry Street and Patterson Street from 17th Avenue to 18th Avenue (Contract #83-06, Job #2067). Council Bill 2651 was read by council bill number only. Ms. Schue moved, seconded by Mr. Obie, that the bill be approved and given final passage. Roll call vote.
