CODE AMENDMENT re: TRANSFER OF COUNTY ROADS TO CITY JURISDICTION (memo, <br />ordinance distributed) <br /> <br />City Manager Micheal Gleason introduced the agenda item. Acting Public Works <br />Director Don Gilman presented the staff report, stating that the amendment is a <br />request to the Lane County Commissioners to transfer nine sections of county <br />roads to the City's jurisdiction. He explained that the nine road projects were <br />constructed during the last four years and have been handled by the council <br />through the regul ar improvement project process with the fi nanci al support of <br />Lane County. He said the county assistance on the projects has been approxi- <br />mately $2.5 million.
