<br />e <br /> <br />CB 2715--An ordinance requesting that jurisdiction over certain <br />county roads now located within the corporate limits of <br />the City of Eugene, a municipal corporation of the State <br />of Oregon, be transferred to the City of Eugene, Oregon. <br /> <br />Mr. Obie moved, seconded by Ms. Wooten, that the bill be read <br />the second time by council bill number only, with unanimous <br />consent of the council, and that enactment be considered at this <br />time. <br /> <br />Mr. Ball voiced his appreciation of Mr. Gilman's pointing out the importance of <br />the process as one that could be extremely important in the issues related to <br />the River Road/Santa Clara area. <br /> <br />Roll call vote; the motion carried unanimously, 6:0. <br /> <br />Council Bill 2715 was read the second time by council bill number only. <br /> <br />Mr. Obie moved, seconded by Ms. Wooten, that the bill be approved <br />and given final passage. Roll call vote; all councilors present <br />voting aye, the bill was declared passed (and became Ordinance <br />No. 19218). <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen said he understood that Mr. Gilman wanted the council to recognize <br />the support of Lane County. Mayor Keller stated that he would write a letter to <br />Lane County expressing the City's appreciation for that support. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />VIII. RESOLUTION re: REPUBLIC AIRLINES FUEL LEASE (memo, map, resolutions <br />distributed <br /> <br />City Manager Micheal Gleason introduced the agenda item. Director of Aviation <br />Bob Shelby presented the staff report, stating that staff was proposing that the <br />occupancy of the Republic Airlines fuel farm be changed from a year-to-year <br />basis to month-to-month to allow the Airport to realign the road system in the <br />cargo area during the terminal expansion project. He said Republic Airlines is <br />not being evicted from the site, but the airline will be offered the month-to- <br />month tenancy when the City gives them their 60-day notice of the termination of <br />the lease. He said the City Attorney's Office has prepared a resolution to <br />address the issue and that staff was recommending approval. <br /> <br />Ms. ~1ith returned to the meeting at this time. <br /> <br />Res.
