No 3888--A resolution forwarding a recommendation to the <br /> Boundary Commission for annexation of property <br /> located east of Shasta Loop Road, north of East 43rd <br /> Avenue to the City of Eugene and Lane County <br /> Metropolitan Wastewater Service District. <br /> Ms. Wooten moved, seconded by Mr. Hansen, to adopt the <br /> resolution and the final order AZ 84-1 of the zone change. <br /> Councilor Ehrman stressed to those citizens who were present at the <br /> December 10, 1984, public hearing that the findings did not approve any CUP <br /> related to the property. She said the council IS action was only on the <br /> annexation and rezoning requests. <br /> Roll call vote; the motion carried, 5:2; Councilors Wooten, <br /> Ehrman, Hansen, Holmer, and Schue voting aye; and Councilors <br /> Obie and Bascom voting nay. <br /> IV. DETERMINE INTERVIEWEES FOR CITY COUNCIL VACANCY IN WARD 6 AND <br /> ESTABLISH INTERVIEW TIME (CONTINUED) <br /> Cathy Freedman of the City Manager's Office stated that staff had determined <br /> that Jess Bosteter of 375 Adams Street was not a resident of Ward 6. She <br /> added that another application had been received at noon prior to the dead- <br /> line. She suggested the council interview the following individuals: <br />e Arden Munkres, 2104 Dewey Street <br /> Jeffrey Miller, 1512 Juh1 Street <br /> James Ashley, 2285 Silhouette Street <br /> Jack Schick, 4072 North Clarey Street <br /> The council agreed to interview those noted. <br /> XII. EUGENE-SPRINGFIELD METROPOLITAN PARTNERSHIP POSITION VACANCIES <br /> Councilor Obie, acting with the agreement of the rest of the City Council, <br /> directed staff to initiate advertising of the three position vacancies for <br /> the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Partnership to be appointed by <br /> the City Council. He said this action will facilitate action by the council <br /> on January 16, 1985. <br /> XIII. FAREWELL COMMENTS BY MAYOR KELLER <br /> Mayor Keller stated that he had enjoyed working with the City Council, the <br /> City staff, and the members of the Eugene community.
