<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />Ms. Ehrman will serve on the Legislative Subcommittee, the Joint Social <br />Services Budget Committee, the Lane Regional Air Pollution Authority (LRAPA), <br />the River Road/Santa Clara Policy Committee and the Community Schools <br />Coordinating Committee. She also is giving time to a Downtown Advocates' <br />group which may develop into a Mayor's Task Force to provide a constituency <br />for the Downtown Commission. She would be interested in the Eugene <br />Celebration. <br /> <br />Mr. Hanson will serve on the Design Review Team, Metropolitan Cable/ <br />Television Commission, LRAPA, Eugene-Springfield Convention and Visitors <br />Bureau Board of Directors, and the Metropolitan Area Transportation <br />Committee. Because of his work with the Visitors Bureau, Mayor Obie <br />suggested he also serve on the CCED. <br /> <br />Ms. Bascom will serve on the Eugene Arts Foundation Board and wondered if, in <br />order to do a good job, she should also be on the Eugene Performing Arts <br />Commission. She will continue to serve on the Utilities Task Force and the <br />Joint Agency Committee for Review of Sanitary User Fees. She would like to <br />serve on the Joint Parks Committee because of her work with the Alton Baker <br />Park Committee, trees and flower baskets in the mall, and the gateway <br />project. However, she could work on a subcommittee this year. She will be <br />interested in the Riverfront Task Team and a downtown advocacy group. <br /> <br />Mr. Holmer will serve on the Budget Committee, Citizen Participation Review <br />Team (which will end soon), the Legislative Subcommittee, the River <br />Road/Santa Clara POlicy Committee, and the CCED. He will be interested in <br />the Riverfront Task Team. <br /> <br />Mr. Obie will serve on the CCED, the Southern Willamette Private Industry <br />Council (for another year-and-a-half), the Metropolitan Partnership Board of <br />Directors, and the Metropolitan Policy Committee. <br /> <br />Ms. Wooten will serve on the Budget Committee, Citizen Involvement Committee, <br />Eugene Celebration, the CCED, the Riverfront Park Study Team, and the <br />Metropolitan Partnership Board of Directors. She is interested in the <br />Riverfront Task Team, the permanent Community Development Committee, the <br />issues raised at the Joint Agency Committee for Review of Sanitary User Fees, <br />and whatever committee or commission is formed when the Culture and Leisure <br />Plan is adopted. <br /> <br />Mr. Rutan will serve on the Joint City Council/4J Board Task Force, the CCED, <br />the Joint Parks Committee, and as alternate on the Legislative Subcommittee. <br />He is interested in the Riverfront Task Team and the MPC. <br /> <br />Mr. Miller will serve on the Joint Social Services Budget Committee, the <br />CCED, the Eugene Action Forum, and as alternate on the CIC and the River <br />Road/Santa Clara Policy Committee. He is interested in the Joint Parks <br />Committee, the Legislative Subcommittee, the L-COG Board of Directors, the <br />MPC, and the permanent Community Development Committee. <br /> <br />Mr. Gleason reminded the councilors that a long-standing council practice <br />permits any councilor to attend any meeting at which the council is <br />represented. <br /> <br />MINUTES--Eugene City Council <br /> <br />January 14, 1985 <br /> <br />Page 2 <br />
