<br /> '''!-. <br /> r . <br /> . . <br /> 't <br /> - BE IT ENACTED BY THE ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF EUGENE, e <br /> that the Charter of the City of Eugene is hereby amended <br /> to add the following provision thereto: <br /> There shall be a city tax on the income of residents of <br /> the city from whatever source derived, and on the income of <br /> nonresidents of the city derived from sources within the <br /> city. The tax shall not exceed the rate of four-tenths of one <br /> percent of taxable income. When all financial obligations <br /> incurred prior to January 1, 1996 for capital improvements at <br /> the Municipal Library and Airport have been paid, the rate of <br /> City income tax shall not exceed 1/4% of taxable income. <br /> Revenue derived from the imposition of a city income tax is <br /> hereby dedicated exclusively to improvements to the municipal <br /> airport and library, other city capital expenditures and to <br /> administration of the tax. <br /> This Measure shall become effective upon its approval <br /> by the electors of the City of Eugene. <br /> The.foregoing Resolution adopted the 25th day of September, <br /> 1985.
