Mr. Holmer said he will be out of town Monday, November 18, when the <br /> councilors interview Downtown Commission and Planning Commission candidates. <br /> He asked the other councilors to defer action on these appointments until <br /> December 4 when he will be back in Eugene. He will listen to the tape <br /> recordings of the interviews and then be able to participate in the decisions. <br /> The other councilors agreed to defer action until December 4, 1985. <br /> D. League of Oregon Cities Conference <br /> Mr. Holmer congratulated Councilor Schue on her election to the Board of <br /> Directors of the League of Oregon Cities at the recent conference. <br /> E. Financing for Expansion of Mah10n Sweet Field <br /> Ms. Ehrman said she asked the staff to distribute to the councilors the <br /> minutes of the July 8, 1985, meeting at which the council approved a <br /> resolution authorizing a loan from the Fleet Services Fund to finance the <br /> desigry of the expansion of the Mahlon Sweet Field terminal~ <br /> F. Western Rivers Girl Scouts Council Presentation <br /> Carrie Swadner presented a Girl Scout pocket planner to Ms. Wooten. <br /> Ms. Swadner said the Girl Scouts will be selling the pocket planners and <br />e calendars in the community. <br /> II.
