<br /> There being no more requests to testify, Mayor Obie closed the public <br />- hearing. <br /> Answering a question from Coucilor Schue, Mr. Shelby said the loans requested <br /> for the parking lot will be paid off with parking revenues. Les Lyle of the <br /> Public Works Department said the loans for the sanitary sewer loans will be <br /> paid off with sewer user fees. Mr. Gleason said the interest on the loans is <br /> five percent. <br /> Councilor Bascom suggested the City staff request support for the application <br /> from the State legislators from the six counties served by the airport. <br /> Ms. Schue said the Mayor of Corvallis supports the projects and probably would <br /> respond to an invitation to endorse it. <br /> Responding to a question from Ms. Ehrman, Mr. Potter said the applications <br /> will be reviewed by an evaluation committee composed of members of the State <br /> Intergovernmental Relations Division. The committee will make recommendations <br /> to the division administrators. There will be no public hearing in Salem. <br /> Mr. Gleason said the procedures are new and being developed. <br /> Ms. Wooten moved, seconded by Mr. Hansen, to authorize the City <br /> Manager to execute the application for funding under the Oregon <br /> Public Works Infrastructure Program. <br /> Answering a question from Mr. Hansen, Mr. Gleason said the Mayor's signature <br />e on the application will be obtained if it is needed. <br /> Roll call vote; the motion carried unanimously, 7:0. <br /> III. 10TH AND OAK ASSESSMENT DISTRICT--ADJUSTMENT OF ASSESSMENTS (memo, <br /> background information distributed) <br /> City Manager Micheal Gleason introduced the agenda item.
