<br />e <br /> <br />M I NUT E S <br /> <br />Eugene City Council <br />Council Chamber--Eugene City Hall <br /> <br />January 28, 1991 <br />7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />COUNCILORS PRESENT: Roger Rutan, Shawn Boles, Ruth Bascom, Bobby Green, <br />Randy MacDonald, Paul Nicholson, Kaye Robinette. <br /> <br />The adjourned meeting of January 16, 1991, of the Eugene City Council was <br />called to order by His Honor Mayor Jeff Miller. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />In light of the large number of items on the council's agenda, Mayor Miller <br />asked those testifying at the public hearings to limit their comments to <br />three minutes in order to allow everyone the opportunity to speak. <br /> <br />Mayor Miller read a statement on behalf of the City Council regarding the <br />crisis in the Middle East urging the community to demonstrate mutual respect <br />and tolerance for all persons regardless of race or ethnic origin and <br />encouraging persons to report any acts of harassment to the Department of <br />Public Safety immediately. <br /> <br />I.
