<br />e <br /> <br />the council wanted to review and send the minutes of the appeals to the hear- <br />ings official on these issues to the council. <br /> <br />Mayor Miller asked why the council wanted to involve itself in this level of <br />administrative policy. Mr. Boles said there were specific traffic issues <br />which needed council review. Mr. Rutan said he felt the council should react <br />to issues only when necessary. <br /> <br />In response to a question from Mr. Boles, Ms. Andersen said the public would <br />undoubtedly call the councilors when they were informed by staff that the <br />council had agreed to consider certain kinds of traffic issues. <br /> <br />The council agreed that a majority of those present should be required when <br />requesting review of the record of appeals for traffic-related issues.
