Sign Code Board of Appeals - Mayor Anderson asked Council for suggestions <br />of persons who would be willing to serve on the Sign Code Board of Appeals, <br />filling vacancy created by resignation of Rod Gillilan. <br /> <br />2. Airport Commission - Mayor Anderson announced appointment of Dr. Glenn Gordon, <br />1136 East 20th Avenue, as a member of the Airport Commission, replacing <br />Norval Ritchey, for the term ending January 1, 1979. <br /> <br />3. The meeting will begin <br />at 11:00 a.m. in the Alcove Room at the Eugene Hotel. The Mayor scheduled <br />a press conference at 10:45 a.m. in the Empire Room at the Hotel preceding <br />the meeting to discuss conditions under which members of the press would <br />be able to attend. the executive session. <br /> <br />In response to Councilman Williams, Stan Long, assistant city attorney, <br />said that since no formal action would be taken at the proposed executive <br />session it would not be necessary to hold the meeting at City Hall. <br /> <br />Q. <br /> <br />International Women's Year 1975 - Mayor Anderson announced recogni tion <br />national Women's Year 1975 through activities of the Mayor's Committee <br />national Co-operation. As a result, a 19.5% reduction <br />in each program item was recommended which would not alter established <br />priorities.
