Revocation of Public Solicitations Permit - Children of God, 2960 Edison <br /> The Charitable Solicitations Commission, on October 31, 1975, voted to <br /> suspend the permit of the above organization due to complaints that they e <br /> were soliciting without a permit, using too much force and causing <br /> traffic hazards. <br /> Public hearing was held with no testimony presented. <br /> Mr. Murray moved seconded by Mr. Keller to revoke the permit. Motion <br /> carried, all Council members present voting aye except Mr. Bradley <br /> abstaining. <br /> D. Rezoning to H-Historic District <br /> 1. County Clerk's Building in Lane County Fairgrounds, south of Pioneer <br /> Museum - Now PL - Public Land (Z 75-12) <br /> 2. Shelton-McMurphy House on southern side of Skinner Butte (303 Willamette <br /> Street) - Now M-2 Light industrial (Z 75-13) <br /> 3. Peters-Liston Wintermeier House at southeast corner of 16th and Lincoln - <br /> Now R-l Single-Family Residential (Z 75-14) <br /> Bill Sugaya, planner, showed slides of the three sites, indicating they have <br /> all been determined to be of historic value by the Historic Review Board, who <br /> has developed a priority list of historic structures to be considered by the <br /> City Council and Planning Commission. <br /> No ex parte contact or other reasons for conflict of interest were declared e <br /> by Council members. <br /> Public hearing was held with no testimony presented. <br /> Co unci 1 Bi 11 No. 957 - Rezoning to H-Historic District County <br /> Clerk's Building at Lane County Fairgrounds, <br /> south of Pioneer Museum (Z 75-12) was read by council bill number and <br /> title only, there being no council members present requesting that it <br /> be read in full. <br /> Mr. Murray moved seconded by Mr. Keller that findings supporting the <br /> rezoning as set out in Planning Commission staff notes and minutes of <br /> October 13, 1975, be adopted by reference thereto; that the bill be <br /> read the second time by council bill number only, with unanimous <br /> consent of the Council; and that enactment be considered at this time. <br /> Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the second time by <br /> council bill number only. <br /> Mr. Murray moved seconded by Mr. Keller that the bill be approved and <br /> given final passage. Rollcall vote.
