National League of Cities, Convention Delegate - Mayor Anderson advised he <br /> would not'be able to attend the League, convention in December to which he <br /> had been named El1gene'deiegate, with Mr. Bradley as alternate. <br /> Mr ~ 'Murray moved seconded bl} Mrs. Beal to' des.ignate Mr. Bradley as Comm <br /> , NLC 'convention delegate. MOtion carried ,unanimously. - approve <br /> 11-19-75 <br /> B. Community Schools Policy Statement - Manager explained the statement (previously <br /> distributed to Council) is a condensed version of a longer document which was <br /> a guidelines manual used by staffs and cornndttees involved in joint school-city <br /> activities. It is suggested that the statement be officially adopted or revised <br /> . as Council sees fit and the School District be notified of any action taken so that <br /> . they might take action as well. <br /> Mr. Bradley, Council representative to the cornndttee, suggested changing the <br /> last paragraph of the proposed statement to include the phrase "and the City <br /> Manager of Eugene." Manager suggested altering that 'change slightly to read <br /> e "in cooperation with". The sentence would then read: "Implementation of <br /> decisions by these two bodies will be carried outbl} the Superintendent of <br /> School District 4-J in cooperation with the City Manager of Eugene". <br /> Mr. Hamel entered the meeting. <br /> -/P2Z 11/24/75 - 11 <br />
