Missoula officials <br />were impressed with the presentation on Eugene's responses to growth, <br />especially in the areas of Mall and neighborhood groups. <br /> <br />Corom <br />3/3/76 <br />File <br /> <br />Councilman Murray noted that Steve Deutsch of the University of Oregon also <br />had taken part in the visitation but was not mentioned in the report. <br /> <br />O. Planning Commission Appointments on Geographic Basis (discussed at February <br />18 Committee meeting) - Mr. Murray wondered when staff would be providing <br />a report on whether future Planning Commission members could be selected on <br />an equitable geographic basis. Rollcall vote. All council member present voting aye, motion carried. <br /> <br />III - Ordinances <br /> <br />II-A-3 <br /> <br />Council Bill No. 1049 - Repealing Ordinance 17526 - Levying assessments for <br />paving alley between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue and <br />between Washington Street and Lawrence Street (75-13) was read by council <br />bill number and title only, there being no Council member present requesting <br />that it be read in full. <br /> <br />Mr. Keller moved second by Mr. Haws that the bill be read the second time by council <br />bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council, and that enactment be con- <br />sidered at this time. Motion carried unanimously and the bill was read the second <br />time by council bill number only. <br /> <br />Mr. Keller moved second by Mr. Haws that the bill be approved and given final passage. <br />Rollcall vote.
