<br /> . <br /> . <br /> Council Bill No. 1304--Levyinq assessments for paving, sanitary <br /> . sewer and storm sewer within 2nd Addition to Firland Heights, <br /> and sanitary sewer and storm sewer within 160 feet of east <br /> boundary of 2nd Addition to Firland Heights (76-43) (1274) <br /> was read by council bill number and title only, there being <br /> no Council member present requesti nq that it be read in full. <br /> Mr. Haws moved seconded by Murray that the bill be referred to Assess- <br /> ment Panel for hearin9 on January 17, 1977, and brought back for Council <br /> consideration of Panel recommendations on January 24, 1977. Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> Council Bill No. 1305--Levying assessments for sanitary sewer on <br /> Pattison Street from Berntzen Street to west within Gregory <br /> Park (76-47) (1285) was read by Council bill number and title <br /> only, there being no r~uncil member present requesting that <br /> it be read in full. <br /> Mr. Haws moved seconded by Murray that the bill be referred to Assess- <br /> ment Panel for hearing on January 17, 1977, and brought back for Council <br /> consideration of Panel recommendations on January 24, 1977 . Motion <br /> carried unanimously. <br /> Council Bill No. 1306--Amending City Code Section 2.896 re: <br /> Labor-Management Resolutions Impasse Resolution Costs was <br /> read by Council bill number and title only, there being no <br /> Council member present requesting that it be read in full. <br /> e Manaqer noted these amendments to City Code 2.896 were necessary to <br /> implement the intent of the existing collective bargaining provisions <br /> of the municipal code. Union representatives had been consulted and <br /> concurred in the amendments which modify the code to allow the parties <br /> to negotiate the cost of arbitration. He noted it was the intent of <br /> the amendment to remain within the perameters of the original code <br /> provisions. <br /> Mr. Haws moved seconded by Mr. Murray that the bill be read the second <br /> time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of the Council, <br /> and that enactment be considered at this time. Motion carried unanimously <br /> and the bill was read the second time by council bill number only. <br /> Mr. Haws moved seconded by Mr. Murray that the bill be approved and <br /> Qiven final passage. ~oll call vote. All Council members present voting <br /> aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 17817. <br /> IV. Resolutions <br /> Resolution ~ID. 2603--Approving charter and recognizing Southwest <br /> Hills Neighborhood Organization was read by <br /> number and title. <br /> Mr. 8radley requested to review the copy of Resolution 2603 and asked if <br /> - the Council would support including within the motion a requirement that <br /> within 60, 90, or 120 days the neighborhood organization return with a <br /> name change to avoid confusion with the existing South Hills Neighborhood <br /> Organization. Mr. Murray indicated he was operating on the assumption that <br /> the Southwest Hills Neighborhood Organization leadership understood from <br /> Io/b Minutes 12/20/76 -- 11 <br />
