He saw no reason to impose a deadline or other strict rules. <br /> Mr. Bradley expressed his desire to only reflect within the body of the <br /> Resolution the intent of the committee-of-the-who1e meeting requiring a <br /> name change. <br /> Mr. Bradley moved seconded by Mr. Murray that Resolution 2603 be amended <br /> to instruct the Southwest Hills Neighborhood Association to work out a <br /> name change with the existing South Hills Neighborhood Association, the <br /> name change to occur within a reasonable period of time. <br /> Mrs. Shirey felt this amendment was an unnecessary step in light of the <br /> responsive leadership in the Southwest Hills Neighborhood Organization. <br /> Mr. Keller concurred in Mrs. Shirey's feelings. <br /> Vote was taken on the motion as stated which failed, council members <br /> Hamel, Murray and Bradley voting aye, and council members Keller, Shirey, <br /> and Haws voting nay. <br /> Mr. Haws moved seconded by Mr. Hamel to adopt the resolution.
