Improvement Petitions <br />A. Paving, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer within Lexington Park <br />Subdivision--128.4 front feet of 28 foot paving assessed outside <br />subdivision--6.3 percent; no city costs. <br /> <br />Public <br />Hearing <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Approve <br /> <br />File <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />B. Paving, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer within Humboldt Sub- <br />division and Willamette Street adjacent--sO percent of frontage <br />on Willamette outside subdivision--$9,000 city storm sewer cost. <br /> <br />Mr. Haws moved, seconded by Mr. Hamel, to approve the <br />petitions. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />IV. Street Name Change--Lindsay Loop to McLean Boulevard <br />Report and map have been distributed to Council members. <br /> <br />Mr. Haws moved, seconded by Mr. Hamel, to schedule a <br />public hearing for February 14, 1977. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />V. Request for Approval of Transfer from Contingency Fund of $3,204 <br />for Fire Escape Repairs and Improvements <br />Memo from Parks Department dated January 26 has been distributed <br />to Council members. <br /> <br />Request was made by the Parks Department after a burglar recently <br />gained access to the fourth floor via the fire escape and stole <br />approximately $80. Also, the fire escape is in need of repair <br />in order to be safe and meet OSHA requirements. <br /> <br />Mr. Haws moved, seconded by Mr. Hamel, to authorize <br />the transfer of $3,204 from the Contingency Fund for <br />fire escape repairs and improvements. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />VI. Eugene's Compliance with Statewide Goals and Guidelines <br />Status report from the Planning Department has been distributed to <br />Council for informational purposes. <br /> <br />Planning Director noted that Jim Bernhard will be testifying before <br />the Land Conservation and Development Commission on Friday, February <br />11. He noted also that, of the IS goals required to be in compliance, <br /> <br />III <br /> <br />2/14/77 - 41 <br />
