2005 Legislative Session IGR Committee Bill Approval June 13, 2005 <br /> <br /> Authorizes State Forester to participate in federal partnership program for protection <br /> of environmentally important forests. Allows State Forestry Department to apply for, <br /> accept and utilize gifts, grants, bequests, endowments and donations to fund <br /> participation in federal partnership program. Requires participation if moneys <br /> HB 2709 1 Support received. Declares emergency, effective on passage. 3/31 <br /> 'Requires local government taxes imposed on or measured by income to be <br /> imposed on or measured by taxable income as determined for state personal income <br /> tax purposes or Oregon taxable income as determined for state corporate excise or <br /> income tax purposes. Applies to tax reporting periods beginning on or after January <br /> HB 2732 1 Oppose/Am 1, 2006. 4/07 <br /> Caps amount of system development charge per dwelling unit that may be imposed <br /> HB 2757 1 Oppose for parks and recreation capital improvements. 3/24 <br /> Modifies annual cap for total amount of corporate excise and income tax credits <br /> available for Iow-income housing financing loans. Applies to tax years beginning on or <br /> HB 2775 1 Support after January 1, 2005. Takes effect on 91st day following adjournment sine die. 4/07 <br /> Provides special assessment for property tax purposes for certain renovations of <br /> HB 2832 I Oppose/Am residential property. Applies to tax years beginning on or after July 1, 2006. 4/07 <br /> Appropriates moneys from General Fund to Department of Education for State <br /> School Fund. Limits biennial expenditures of lottery funds allocated to department for <br /> State School Fund. Limits biennial expenditures of department from timber tax funds <br /> and accounts. Establishes maximum amount department may spend from State <br /> School Fund each fiscal year of biennium. Appropriates moneys from General Fund <br /> to department for Local Option Equalization Grants Account. Directs Oregon <br /> Department of Administrative Services, in consultation with Legislative Fiscal Office, <br /> to determine amount of projected savings to school districts and education service <br /> districts from specified actions. Reduces amount appropriated from General Fund to <br /> iDepartment of Education for State School Fund by amount equal to projected <br /> savings. Appropriates amount equal to projected savings from General Fund to <br /> HB 2855 I Support Education Stability Fund. Declares emergency, effective July 1, 2005. 4/07 <br /> Directs cities to distribute percent of moneys received by cities from violations <br /> of laws and ordinances related to parking privileges for disabled persons to <br /> HB 2867 I Oppose organizations that serve persons with disabilities. 4/07 <br /> HB 2869 I Support/Am Imposes fee on retail sale of studded tires or on installation of studs in tire. 3/24 <br /> Increases limit on fees imposed by local government for implementing local <br /> FIB 2943 I Support community right to know regulatory program. 5/12 <br /> <br /> Page 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
