2005 Legislative Session IGR Committee Bill Approval June 13, 2005 <br /> <br /> HB 2298 3 Support Modifies provisions relating to stalking protective orders. 3/09 <br /> Expands definition of 'sex crime' for certain purposes by including public or private <br /> HB 2316 3 Support indecency regardless of whether person has prior conviction for another sex crime. 2/11 <br /> Increases penalties for intimidation in second degree under certain circumstances to <br /> HB 2321 3 Support maximum five years' imprisonment, $125,000 fine, or both. 2/11 <br /> Establishes policy of state for funding of fire 9rotection. Directs State Forestry <br /> Department to include specific request in budget forms prepared for Oregon <br /> Department of Administrative Services. Creates Oregon Fire Protection Contingency <br /> Fund. Specifies sources and purposes. Forbids forester or other agency from <br /> interfering with landowner taking action to suppress fire on landowner's land unless <br /> action would increase risk of injury to persons or equipment. Reduces or eliminates <br /> harvest tax and assessments, depending on amount held in Oregon Forest Land <br /> Protection Fund. Removes sunset of provisions reducing reserve base of Oregon <br /> Forest Land Protection Fund. Appropriates moneys from General Fund to State <br /> Forestry Department for payment of catastrophic fire insurance. Declares emergency, <br /> HB 2327A 3 Monitor effective March 1, 2005. 2/11 <br /> Requires law enforcement agencies to complete investigations of certain cases of <br /> HB 2335 3 Support alleged child sexual abuse no later than 45 days after commencing investigation. 2/11 <br /> Modifies provisions relating to setting aside record of conviction. Increases fee for <br /> setting aside record of conviction.
