2005 Legislative Session IGR Committee Bill Approval June 13, 2005 <br /> <br /> Changes date of primary election from third Tuesday in May to third Tuesday in <br /> iSeptember in even-numbered years. Retains presidential preference primary election <br /> ~n May. Modifies period for filing and conducting election contests, recounts and <br /> actions for false campaign statements following primary election. Directs Secretary of <br /> State to print single September voters' pamphlet. Changes deadlines for filing for <br /> nomination or election to office and for filing information relating to candidates and <br /> HB 2504 3 Oppose measures with election officials. 3/09 <br /> Creates Task Force on Sodium Azide. Sunsets task force on date of convening of <br /> HB 2507 3 Support next legislative session. Declares emergency, effective on passage. 2/24 <br /> Authorizes Office of Rural Health to certify psychologists with rural practices as <br /> eligible for rural medical practice income tax credit. Directs office to adopt criteria for <br /> eligibility. Directs office to begin certifying individuals on or after January 1,2009. <br /> HB 2514 3 Support Applies to tax years beginning on or after January 1, 2009. 3/17 <br /> Eliminates requirement that Oregon Veterans' Home collect 10,000 signatures in <br /> order to qualify for instruction listing for charitable checkoff contributions on personal <br /> ~ncome tax forms. Applies to biennial years beginning on or after effective date of Act. <br /> HB 2516 3 Support Takes effect on 91st day following adjournment sine die. 3/17 <br /> Specifies that public lands used for wildlife management purposes must be <br /> accessible for hunting. Requires State Fish and Wildlife Commission to avoid making <br /> management determinations that result in net loss of public lands used for wildlife <br /> management purposes that are open to hunting. Directs State Fish and Wildlife <br /> Director to report to Legislative Assembly on acreage of public lands accessible for <br /> HB 2529 3 Oppose hunting. 3/09 <br /> Specifies that public lands used for wildlife management purposes must be <br /> accessible for hunting. Requires State Fish and Wildlife Commission to avoid making <br /> management determinations that result in net loss of public lands used for wildlife <br /> management purposes that are open to hunting.
