2005 Legislative Session IGR Committee Bill Approval June 13, 2005 <br /> <br /> Directs Department of Revenue to establish general tax amnesty program of limited <br /> duration. Waives penalties for taxpayers who pay outstanding taxes. Takes effect on <br /> HB 2758 3 Support 91st day following adjournment sine die. 4/07 <br /> Prohibits paying or receiving compensation based on number of signed voter <br /> HB 2760 3 Support registration cards person collects. 4/07 <br /> Requires that one in every four accessible parking spaces for disabled persons be <br /> van accessible or, if more than four spaces are designated as accessible, then one in <br /> every eight be van accessible. Requires that van accessible parking spaces have <br /> orange sign marked 'Wheelchair User Only' and be striped and marked in orange <br /> with International Symbol of Access. Requires access aisle be striped orange. <br /> Requires Department of Transportation to issue wheelchair placards or decals. <br /> Prohibits persons from parking in van accessible parking space signed or marked <br /> HB 2762 3 Oppose 'Wheelchair User Only ' unless vehicle displays wheelchair placard or decal. 4/07 <br /> Requires Department of Transportation to ensure that when highway lanes merge, <br /> HB 2769 3 Oppose traffic in left lane merges into right lane. 4/07 <br /> Modifies requirements for formation and merger of people's utility districts and for <br /> HB 2773 3 Monitor annexation of territory to existing people's utility district. 4/21 <br /> Eliminates sunset date on historic property special assessment program.
