2005 Legislative Session IGR Committee Bill Approval June 13, 2005 <br /> <br /> Removes requirement that contractors and subcontractors pay flaggers state <br /> SB 0136 3 Oppose prevailing wage rate on project regulated under federal Davis-Bacon Act. 2/11 <br /> Increases period in which retaliation complaint may be filed under occupational <br /> safety laws from 30 days to 90 days after employee has reasonable cause to believe <br /> unlawful employment practice has occurred. Declares emergency, effective on <br /> SB 0147 3 Neutral ~assage. 1/25 <br /> Prohibits employers from entering into public works contracts for which contract price <br /> exceeds $250,000 unless employer is approved apprenticeship training agent. <br /> Requires specifications and contracts for public works for which contract price <br /> SB 0150 3 Oppose exceeds $250,000 to require contractors to be approved training agents. 2/01 <br /> Prohibits employers from entering into public works contracts for which contract <br /> ~rice exceeds { - $250,000 - } { + $350,000 + } unless employer is approved <br /> apprenticeship training agent. Terminates photo red light camera <br /> SB 0153 3 Oppose and photo radar system on January 2, 2008. 2/11 <br /> { + Modifies provisions relating to photo red light cameras and photo radar systems. <br /> + } Requires each city operating photo red light camera or photo radar system to <br /> present biennial report to Legislative Assembly. { - Terminates photo red light camera <br /> SB 0153A 3 Oppose/Am and photo radar system on January 2, 2008. - } 5/05 <br /> Allows Secretary of State, after consultation with affected county clerks, to postpone <br /> date of election in event of civil disorder, state of emergency, natural disaster or other <br /> catastrophic event. Requires postponed election to be held not later than 14 calendar <br /> days after date of original election. Directs secretary to set date on which election will <br /> SB 0161 3 Neutral be held. 4/28 <br /> Requires all elections held in state to be conducted by mail.
