<br /> C.B. 1727--Authorizing street name change from Allsup Lane to Applewood <br /> Lane, located north of Green Acres Road between North Delta - <br /> Highway and Balboa Street (SC 78-2) and declaring an emergency <br /> was read by council bill number and title only, there being <br /> no Councilor present requesting it be read in full. <br /> Mr. Delay moved, seconded by Ms. Smith, that the bill be read the <br /> second time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of <br /> the Council, and that enactment be considered at this time. Motion <br /> carried unanimously, and the bill was read the second time by <br /> council bill number only. <br /> Mr. Delay moved, seconded by Ms. Smith, that the bill be approved <br /> and given final passage. Roll call vote. All Councilors present <br /> voting aye, the bill was declared passed and numbered 18238. <br /> C.B. 1728--Authorizing street name change from East 35th Avenue (between <br /> Potter Street and Onyx Place) to Oynx Street; east margin of <br /> Potter Street east to the west margin of Oynx Place (SC 78-3) <br /> and declaring an emergency was read by council bill number and <br /> title only, there being no Councilor present requesting it be <br /> read in full. <br /> Mr. Delay moved, seconded by Ms. Smith, that the bill be read the <br /> second time by council bill number only, with unanimous consent of <br /> the Council, and that enactment be considered at this time. Request for Authorization for Agreement: State Department of Transportation <br /> and City re: Fern Ridge Bike Path, Federal Aid Urban System Project <br /> Assistant Manager said this resolution was for construction of a segment <br /> of the Fern Ridge bike path, which is part of the metro area Master Bike <br /> Plan. It would take bicycles off 11th from Quaker to Danebo. The project <br /> would be built with Federal Aid urban funds--78 percent Federal funding, <br /> 11 percent State funding, and 11 percent City. The total estimated <br /> cost was $237,000, with the City's share being $26,000. The project has <br /> been approved by the State Transportation Commission and the City's <br /> Bicycle Committee. <br /> Res. No. 2965--Authorizing entering into agreement betweeen State Department <br /> of Transportation and City of Eugene re: Fern Ridge Bike <br /> Path was read by number and title. <br /> Mr. Delay moved, seconded by Ms. Smith, to adopt the resolution. <br /> Motion carried unanimously, with Mr. Obie abstaining because of <br /> a conflict of interest. - <br /> 7/26/78--4 <br /> S3~ <br />
