Street Direction Change--Lincoln, 11th to 13th (SC 79-1)--(Map and materials <br />distributed.) . <br /> <br />Manager noted the Traffic Engineering Division had completed the Lincoln <br />Street two-way test between 11th and 13th Avenues. The majority of the <br />affected residents and property owners approved the two-way system. <br />Only two letters were received stating a preference for the one-way <br />system. The Engineering Division recommended the two-way system become <br />permanent. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Public Hearing was opened. <br /> <br />Chester Pietka, 1251 Lincoln, spoke in favor of the resolution. He noted <br />the difficulty people had had in getting to his business when the street <br />was one-way. <br /> <br />Phil Robley, owner of Ad-Type, represented the three-building office <br />complex located on the corner of 13th and Lincoln. He also illustrated <br />the extreme difficulty the one-way street made for his business. He <br />requested that the street remain two-way, and that arrows pointing in <br />the right direction be painted on the street. <br /> <br />Public hearing was closed, there being no further testimony presented. <br /> <br />Res.
