After discussion it was agreed that Manager will prepare a resolution to e be presented at the June 27 Council meeting, which will reflect that the Mayor will select a chairperson, and that each Councilor will appoint either a new member, an existing Budget Committee member, or one of the CouncHors, and that the committee will be composed of eight members plus a chairperson. Manager said that funds were received for payment in full. Mr. Delay moved, seconded by Ms. Smith, that the bill be approved and given final passage. Roll call vote. CB 1902--Concerning the appointment process for City boards, commissions, and committees; amending section of the Eugene Code, 1971, was read by council bill number and title only, there being no - Councilor present requesting it be read in full. Manager said that Council needs to specify the length of the terms for citizen appointments in the final version of the council bill. The Citizens Involvement Committee, Cable TV, and Wastewater Management commissions presently show an indefinite term and staff will change that to reflect three-year terms. Mr. Delay moved, seconded by Ms. Smith, that the bill be approved and given final passage by amending the Eugene Code, 1971, to reflect that terms for the Citizens Involvement Committee.on Planning will be three years with initial terms of one, two, and three years staggered thereafter, and that the Metropolitan Cable TV and Wastewater Management commissions reflect three-year terms.
