PRESENTATION OF SORT SAVE OREGON RESOURCES TODAY PROJECT REPORT <br /> Report distributed to Council <br /> Jeff Detlefsen from Lane County was present to summarize the Project <br /> SORT Pilot Program, which has recently been concluded. The assessment of <br /> citizen participation, economics, and environmental aspects of house-by- <br /> house collection of recyclables was the common goal. The study sample was <br /> made up of 12 clusters. Each study area's residents were offered free <br /> collection of glass, metal, and paper for one year. Included in the <br /> collection were items such as clear glass, tin cans, aluminum, newspaper, <br /> green glass, and craft paper.
