-

e

e

Mayor Keller asked when council would be recelvlng information from
the public hearings that were held. Mr. Gordon responded that that
information should be coming out on Friday. The Metro team will summarize
testimony from the public hearings as well as written testimony regarding
general concerns, data base concerns, diagram concerns with a key, and
comments regarding concerns in the text.

Mr. Delay stated he would like a synopsis of the testimony. The Eugene
City Council, Springfield City Council, and Lane County will all go
through this process and then make a recommendation to the coordinating
committee. Mr. Delay stated he also would like to know who had dealt
with these issues previously. Mr. Croteau noted that the council would
receive an entire record as well as the summary, plus what changes are
desired and where those changes would be.

The River Road/Santa Clara situation was discussed and proposed amend-
ments regarding this area from Lane County Commissioner Jerry Rust were
distributed.

Mr. Gordon stated that there will always be a six- to ten-year supply
of urbanizable land available for land annexation and that will always
be beyond the rate of annexation.

Ms. Miller stated that EWES is concerned about the direction of urban
growth and wants to make certain that, in regard to the Willow Creek area
mentioned by Mr. Allen, they know the general direction of annexation so
they know where to use their resources.

The meeting was adjourned.
Respectfully submitted,

~)~

Charles T.
