Property located south of 30th Avenue, east of Spring Boulevard at <br /> Dogwood Drive and Kimberly Drive, from County AGT Agricultural, <br /> Grazing, Timber-Raising District to City RA Suburban Residential <br /> District and from County AGT Agricultural, Grazing, Timber-Raising <br /> District to City'RA/PD Suburban Residential District with Planned <br /> Unit Development procedures (City of Eugene: Firland Heights) <br /> (Z 80-12) (map distributed). <br /> Mr. Henry stated that this item had been held over for one month. At <br /> the council's request, a tour of the area was made. This property had <br /> been annexed but not converted from county to city zoning. He intro- <br /> duced Jerry Jacobson, Planning, to provide background information. <br /> Mr. Jacobson stated this is a city-initiated zone change for property <br /> which never received city zoning after annexation in 1976. On July 14, <br /> the zoning matter was heard and tabled to allow a tour and to receive <br /> information from the County regarding the 30th Avenue interchange. <br /> This information has been distributed to the council. The earliest <br /> possible construction date for this interchange would be 1983-84. e <br /> - .- ..- ----,- <br /> , Ms. Smith asked how this coincides with development of the property. <br /> Mr. Jacobson stated that the property would be developed in three <br /> phases with the earliest occurring possibly in 1982. The majority <br /> of the development on the property would take place in 1983-84. <br /> Ms. Smith noted that the interchange would not accommodate traffic <br /> during construction, but it would after that. Mr. Jacobson indicated <br /> agreement with her statement. <br /> Ms. Schue stated that she had missed the public hearing and would <br /> abstain from the item. <br /> CB 2171--Authorizing rezoning from County AGT Agricultural, Grazing, Timber- <br /> Raising District to City RA Suburban Residential District for <br /> property located south of 30th Avenue, east of Spring Boulevard <br /> at Dogwood Drive and Kimberly Drive. <br /> Ms. Smith moved, seconded by Mr. Lieuallen, that findings sup- <br /> porting the rezoning as set forth in Planning Commission staff <br /> notes and minutes of June 3, 1980, be adopted by reference thereto; <br /> that the bill be read the second time by council bill number only, <br /> with unanimous consent of the council; and that enactment be <br /> considered at this time.
