He has a problem with deregulation and what impact that will have <br /> on the public who have used this service in the past. He asked if there was a <br /> need for this service~ if peopl~ are suffering, or if they are finding other <br /> ways because the rates would be higher. He stated that he does not know the - <br /> answers to the questions but will support deregulation. However, he is concerned. <br /> Mayor Keller stated that he has some additional information and ideas which he <br /> would share with Mr. Lieuallen. ..' <br /> Roll call vote; motion carried unanimously. <br /> IX. INDUSTR1AL LAND STUDY: TASK FORCE APPOINTMENTS/RESOLUTION (res. distributed) <br /> Mr. Henry stated that this resolution is the same as the County Commissioners <br /> have agreed upon. <br /> Ms. Miller stated that Janet Calvert representing an economic committee, Bob <br /> Barkman representing the Planning Commission, Steve Wood representing the <br /> general public, and Jim Saul representing the business community are the Mayor1s <br /> recommendations. <br /> Res. No. 3434--A resolution concerning cooperative study of indust~ial <br /> supply and demand for the metropolitan area. <br /> Ms. Smith moved, seconded by Mr. Lieuallen, to adopt the resolution <br />e and approve the Mayor's recommendations for appointment to the <br /> Industrial Land Study Task Force.
