These diseases
include smoke-induced asthma and carcinoma of the lungs, as well as emphysema,
heart attacks, and third degree burns from fire which are direct effects of
cignrettes. They have learned that secondhand smoke is hazardous to a person's
health. Smoking is a learned behavior which can be modified through peer
pressure.
