Other funding sources include <br />assessments which are likely to pay for a portion of development-driven (based <br />on the City’s current assessment policy), and grants for bicycle and pedestrian <br />facilities. <br /> <br />The improvement fee cost basis is provided in Table B-3. <br /> <br /> <br />3.0 System-Wide Cost per Trip <br />The system wide costs per trip (also known as “costs per vehicle trip” or “costs per trip end”) are <br />determined by dividing the improvement and reimbursement fee cost bases (as shown in Tables <br />B-2 and B-3) by the projected growth in weekday PM peak hour trip ends (shown in Table B-1). <br /> <br /> <br />3.1 Reimbursement Fee <br />Table B-2 shows the result of this calculation for the reimbursement fee in the column <br />entitled “SDC per Vehicle Trip”. <br /> <br /> <br />3.2 Improvement Fee <br />The improvement fee SDC per trip is shown in Table B-3 in the column entitled “SDC per <br />Vehicle Trip”. <br /> <br />4.0 SDC Rate Calculations <br /> <br /> <br />4.1 Formula <br />The transportation SDC for an individual development is based on the total cost per trip <br />(including the reimbursement and improvement components) and the number of weekday <br />PM peak hour trips attributable to a particular development.
