Planning Commission Accomplishments <br />1. Completed review of Downtown Area Housing Policy Analysis Report (DAHPA) <br />2. Held joint public hearing with Lane County and deliberated on Goal 5 protection <br /> measures <br />3. Reviewed and forwarded comments of the Eugene Redevelopment Advisory <br /> Committee (ERAC) <br />4. Made recommendations on proposed amendments to the cell tower ordinance <br />5. Conducted several discussions on mixed-use neighborhoods and adopted a 2-year <br /> work program. <br />6. Approved Citizen Involvement Plan for Chambers Reconsidered project <br />7. Made recommendations on proposed amendment of the Laurel Hill Refinement <br /> Plan <br />8. Made recommendations on the proposed Metro Plan Amendment regarding Public <br /> Safety Special Districts <br />9. Held several work sessions and public hearing on minor code amendments <br />10. Handled appeals of 2 Hearings Official decisions <br />11. Toured the mixed-use neighborhood areas with representatives from the state, <br /> Eugene Public Works, LTD, neighborhood leader representatives and the general <br /> public. <br />12. Held public hearing and work sessions on Chambers Reconsidered project <br />13. Reviewed proposed amendments to the Housing Dispersal Policies <br />14. Made recommendations on the Capital Improvement Program <br />15. Made recommendations on 2 requests for historic zoning designations <br />16. Discussed possible approaches to Alternative Path <br />17. Approved the Citizen Involvement Plan for the Key Code Amendments <br />18. Discussed possible code amendments for downtown recommended by ERAC <br />19. Reviewed 2 housing tax exemption requests <br />20. Planning Commission instituted Council buddy communications <br />21.
