The human rights commission of the city as established <br />under section 2.260 oftNs code. <br /> Contracto_r~ All persons, wherever s/mated, but excluding local, state or <br />federal traits of government or their officials, from whom the city purchases goods <br />and/or services costing $2~500 or more in any fiscal year. <br /> Discriminate or discrimination. All persons, wherever situated, who ernploy one or more <br />employees within the city, or who solicit individuals within the city to apply for <br />employment within the city or elsewhere; the term includes the city itself} its <br />boards, commissions and authorities. <br /> ~thr!icit~ A person's cultural heritage. <br /> Familial status. The relationship between one or more individuals at least <br />one of whom has not attained 18 years of age and who is domiciled with: <br /> (a) A parent or another person having legal custody of the <br /> individual; or <br /> (b) The designee of the parent or other person having such <br />custody, with the written permission of the parent or other person. <br />"Familial status" includes any individual, regardless of age or domicile, who is <br />pregnan't or is in the process of securing legal custody of an individual who has <br />not attained 18 years of age. <br /> Labor organization. An organization which is constituted for the purpose, <br />in whole or in parr, of collective bargaining or for dealing with employers <br />concerning grievances, terms or conditions of employment or for other mutual aid <br />or protection in connection with employees. <br /> National origin.
