<br />" Waldron & (om~anq <br /> <br />SECTION V <br /> <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FEE <br /> <br />Waldron & Company's standard fee for providing professional services is 30% of the successful <br />candidate's hiring salary. For the City of Eugene, we propose a flat fee of $22,500. <br /> <br />PROJECT EXPENSES <br /> <br />Expenses incurred- are the responsibility of the client. Waldron & Company will, when possible, pre- <br />approve expenditures with you and maintain accurate records' at all times. Expense items include, but <br />are not limited to: <br /> <br />> Newspaper, trade journals, web postings, and related advertising to announce the position. <br />~ Direct mail announcements and regret letters. <br />> Telephone and facsimile expenses. <br />> Delivery expenses. <br />> Printing of docul]1ents and materials. <br />>- Travel and related costs for the consultants assigned to the project. <br />)> T'ravel and related expenses for candidates during the intervievv process. <br /> <br />A t\VO percent (2 %) charge will be added to all pass-through expenses referenced above. No additional <br />cost add-ons are included. <br /> <br />BILLING <br /> <br />Professional fees are billed in three installments during the course of the search. The initial installment <br />is billed at the time Waldron & Company is engaged. The second instalhnent is billed when semi- <br />finalists are selected. The final installment is billed at the conclusion of the search. Expenses are billed <br />monthly. All invoices are due upon receipt by the client. <br /> <br />GUARANTEE <br /> <br />Waldron & Company guarantees placement of a qualified can'didate. Waldron & Company \-vill provide <br />a one-year search guarantee of the selected individual. If the selected individual leaves the position for <br />any reason other than death, physical or mental incapacity, or termination initiated by the client without <br />cause, \ve \vill conduct a replacement search with no additional service fee. The only cost to the client <br />would be pass-through expenses related to the additional search. Within the guarantee period, Waldron <br />& Cornpany must be notified in \vriting of a termination \vithin 30 days of its occurrence. <br /> <br />CANCELLATION <br /> <br />You have the right to cancel the search at any time. Your only obligation to vValdron & Company vvould <br />be the fees and expenses incurred prior to cancellation. <br /> <br />." <br /> <br />10 <br />
