<br />5) What is your cost structure for this level of search? Do you have any mechanisms in <br />place for cost sharing if some of the work is completed by City of Eugene Staff? <br /> <br />The consulting fee for conducting the Police Auditor recruitment on behalf of the City of <br />Eugene is $17,500 plus expenses. Services provided for the fee consist of all steps outlined <br />in this proposal including three (3) days of meetings on site. Additional days on site to assist <br />the City Council can be arranged. <br /> <br />The City of Eugene will be responsible for reimbursing expenses Bob Murray and Associates <br />incurs on your behalfa We estimate expenses for this project to be $5,500-$8,500. Actual <br />expense costs are related to a regional recruitment versus a nationwide recruitment. <br />Reimbursable expenses include such items as the cost of travel, clerical support, placement <br />of ads, credit, criminal and civil checks, education verification, as well as newspaper searchesa <br />In addition, postage, photocopying, and,telephone charges will be allocated. <br /> <br />The City shall be billed monthly by Bob Murray & Associates for the work completed as of <br />that date. Expenses shall be billed and due at the same timea Typically, we will charge 250/0 <br />of the fee for each of the first 3 months, Vlith the fourth month being 150/0 of the fee and <br />100/0 billed out when the top candidate has been selected and accepted your offer of <br />employment. <br /> <br />It is our understanding that the City has already prepared the recruitment brochurea If the <br />City elects to produce the brochure on their own, the consulting fee would be reduced by <br />$500 and the expenses by $1000a <br /> <br />City of Eugene <br />Page 7 <br />
