<br />r '.' <br /> <br />2a Please provide details regarding Police Auditor (or any similar <br />position searches that you've. completeda <br /> <br />The Mercer Group, Inc. has conducted many successful <br />recruitment and selection processes for Public Safety executives <br />throughout the United States (please see the P~blic Safety <br />category of the executive search work listing we have provided for <br />a review of these recruitments ).While most of these recruitments <br />are for Chiefs of Police, these executive positions require the same <br />traits and knowledge base that would be required of a successful <br />Police Auditor; unquestioned integrity and ethics, a successful <br />track record in leadership of community policing, in-depth <br />knowledge of program planning, management and <br />administration, police operations, policies and procedures, <br />administrative investigative principles and .methods, including <br />interview techniques and rules of evidence, principles of law <br />enforcement policy development and evaluation, training and <br />instruction and work performance assessment. Chiefs of Police <br />and other law enforcement executives must regularly interact <br />with public policy issues related to police complaint systems and <br />civilian oversight. <br />
