<br />r": <br /> <br />Society for Public Administration (ASP A)a Mra Middleton is currently a member of <br />IPMA-HR, and serves on the Board of Directors of the University of Southern California <br />City/County Manager Fellowship Foundationa <br /> <br />Mr. Middleton has been engaged in over 300 recruitments in most areas of general local <br />govenunent (eag., City and County management, Public Safety, Community and <br />Economic Development, Social Services, Public Works, Finance, Transportation, etca). <br />Mr. Middleton has also conducted numerous City Manager recruitments, including the <br />California cities of San Jose, Long Beach, Carlsbad, Y orba Linda, Diamond Bar, <br />Redlands, West H-ollywood, Martinez, Marina, Millbrae, Duarte and Huntington Beacha <br />Mr. Middleton has also been involved in the recruitments for Police Chiefs in the City of <br />Chicago (IL), Glendale (CA), San Diego (CA), and San Jose (CA)a <br /> <br />Mr. Middleton received a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of <br />Southern California, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from California State <br />University at Northridge. <br /> <br />4. The typical timeline for this recruitment is as follows. However, this actual <br />recruitment could take longer as many of the key dates are falling in the holiday <br />period between Thanksgiving and Christmas. <br /> <br />9/15 - 9/24 <br /> <br />Meet with the appropriate individuals to gather background <br />information. <br /> <br />9/25 - 10/9 <br /> <br />Develop and obtain approval for the Recruitment Profile. <br />Develop a list of potential candidates to target. Prepare and place <br />advertisements, if desired. <br /> <br />10/10 - 11/14 <br /> <br />Active recruitment-solicit, receive and acknowledge resumes. <br /> <br />11 / 1 7 -11 /2 1 <br /> <br />Evaluate resumes and gather supplemental information. <br /> <br />Week of 1.2/1 <br /> <br />Submit progress report and meet with you to review leading <br />candidates. Set Final interview date in January, 2009 <br /> <br />12/8 - 1/5/09 <br /> <br />Verify degrees and certifications, conduct references and interview <br />the best qualified candidates. <br /> <br />Week of 1/5/09 <br /> <br />Submit final report and schedule the final interview process with <br />you. <br /> <br />5. The typical cost of this recruitment is a not to exceed cost of $25,000 which <br />would be divided between professional fee of $18.,000 and expenses of $8,500 for <br />a national recruitment We do not bill for expenses we do not incur.
