With this report, we would like to request a <br />permanent amendment to the ordinance. <br />Council asked for reporting on the four items listed below. <br />1.Information regarding tailgating traffic, and alcohol related arrests, during the 2018 football <br />season in relation to previous years. <br />The University of Oregon noticed no negative impacts from the extension of tailgating hours at <br />Autzen Stadium. UO Police experienced no calls for service related to the extended hours for <br />tailgating. Both Eugene Police and UO Police advised that the earlier hours helped mitigate pre-game <br />traffic and no negative impact. The charts below detail information regarding ejections from the <br />stadium. In 2018, we saw a reduction in total ejections from an average of 37 to 24 per game.
