Approval of a Resolution Annexing Land to the City of Eugene (Assessor’s Map 17-04-24- <br />32, Tax Lot 3300 — located at 503 Sunnyside Drive) and a Portion of the Right-of-Way <br />(Sunnyside Drive Adjacent to the Property) (City File: Morrow/Thomas; A 18-11). <br />E. Adoption of an Ordinance Providing for Withdrawal of Annexed Properties from the <br />Following Special Districts: the Santa Clara Rural Fire Protection District; Santa Clara <br />Water District; Willakenzie Rural Fire Protection District; Lane Fire Authority; River <br />Road Parks and Recreation District; and River Road Water District. <br />MOTION AND VOTE: Councilor Semple, seconded by Councilor Pryor, moved to approve the items on the Consent Calendar. PASSED 5:0 4.PUBLIC HEARING AND ACTION: FY20-25 Capital Improvement ProgramCity Manager Jon Ruiz introduced the item. <br />Mayor Vinis opened the public hearing.Testimony:1.Teresa Bishow – expressed concerns that the proposed CIP did not fund Striker Field Park.2.John Barofsky – noted marginal beginning working capital transfer changes over time.3.John Jaworski – expressed frustration at Striker Field Park not being included in the CIP. <br />Mayor Vinis closed the public hearing.
