The officer had been <br />dispatched for a call for trespassing which was why RP was <br />arrested. No policy violations. <br />8/14/18 10/5/18 51 Performance RP was unhappy with an officer that did <br />not call him back with information about <br />his case and appears to have a voicemail <br />box that is full. <br />Sgt. reviewed information about the incident and found that the <br />officer had been able to recover RP's belongings but was waiting <br />for fingerprints to return before making an arrest. Once a <br />complaint was filed the officer was directed to not contact RP. <br />The Sgt. spoke with RP and updated him on the case. <br />8/14/18 8/20/18 6 Inquiry <br />Dismissed: <br />Other <br />RP alleged that officers used excessive <br />on the arrest of her son, because of his <br />African American/American Indian <br />heritage. <br />Dismissed: Other Review of police reports and <br />body cams by the Auditor's Office found no Policy Violations by <br />officers. <br />8/14/18 8/20/18 6 Inquiry <br />Dismissed: <br />Other <br />RP alleged that an officer awoke her by <br />rubbing his fist on her ribs, and then <br />excessive force was used to arrest her. <br />Dismissed: Other Preliminary review by <br />Auditor found allegations to be false. <br />8/13/18 9/18/18 35 Service Level RP was unhappy how officers addressed <br />an issue of an ex-boyfriend handling a <br />gun around her and how long it took for <br />officers to respond. <br />Review of the incident found that the call takers had triaged the <br />call correctly and that officers had made the correct call on not <br />citing or arresting RP's boyfriend. <br />8/15/18 8/15/18 0 Inquiry <br />Dismissed: <br />Timeliness <br />RP was upset with an officer who <br />questioned him after he was assaulted in <br />2017. <br />Dismissed: Timeliness <br />8/11/18 8/28/18 17 Performance RP reported an officer who did not use <br />turn signals. <br />Sgt. spoke with the officer about being mindful of using signals. <br />Sgt. contacted RP about the issue. <br />8/16/18 9/27/18 41 Service Level RP is unhappy with the response to calls <br />about illegal camping in front of her <br />property. <br />Sgt. drove the area in question and noted no violation at the <br />time. Sgt. spoke with RP and learned that the campers had just <br />recently been contacted and had moved on. Sgt. suggested RP <br />continue to call in if the problem reoccurs. <br />8/18/18 8/20/18 2 Performance RP was unhappy that officer would not <br />take the enforcement action he wanted. <br />Review of body cams found that the officers were professional <br />and took the appropriate action for the situation.
