<br /> <br />4.Transportation Initiative: Develop mechanisms to adequately fund our transportation system for <br />cars, trucks, bikes, and pedestrians including maintenance and preservation and capital <br />reconstruction. <br /> <br /> <br />RELATED CITY POLICIES <br />No related City policies are relevant to this discussion, but all goals were contemplated under the <br />umbrella of the City’s vision and values statement, which was modified in 2005. <br /> <br /> <br />COUNCIL OPTIONS <br />The council may provide input and direction for staff follow-up on the issues discussed. Staff <br />anticipates greater articulation by the body of what it deems measurable outcomes, as well as strategies <br />and timelines for attaining success of the agreed upon goals. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY MANAGER’S RECOMMENDATION <br />No specific recommendations are offered by the City Manager.
