The session is to establish Council Goals <br />2. Council Goals will be established with 7 of 9 (or 6 of 8) affirmative votes, with the <br />Mayor participating and voting. <br /> <br />Identifying Council Goals for 2007 – 2008 <br /> <br />The Council brainstormed the following potential goal areas for 2007-2008 which would <br />be considered along with the priorities from 2006 that were not yet completed. <br /> <br />? <br /> Design Standards and Site Review <br />? <br /> Smart Growth <br />? <br /> Find a new source of revenue <br />? <br /> EMS outreach to communities of Color/Women <br />? <br /> Adopt a living wage ordinance <br />? <br /> Maintain current service levels at the library <br />? <br /> Enhance youth programs <br />? <br /> Citizen’s academy for City services <br />? <br /> Provide for completely free bus service within the City of Eugene <br />? <br /> Let voters make a decision on a performance auditor <br />? <br /> Protection of Amazon Headwaters <br />? <br /> Youth Advisory group for Council Enhance Human Services <br />? <br /> Annexation vote of River Road and Santa Clara <br />? <br /> Purchase all property available along the Willamette River <br />? <br /> Secure funding and build a downtown circulating loop, fixed rail, electric street <br />car <br />? <br /> Patrol building and substations <br />? <br /> Police Staffing and property crimes <br />? <br /> Sustainability <br />? <br /> Downtown <br />? <br /> Transportation funding <br />? <br /> West Eugene Traffic <br />? <br /> Land Supply <br /> <br /> <br />Management Partners, Inc. 6 <br /> <br />
