3 <br /> Police Department Records costs <br /> are based on the assumption that the photo red light program will be implemented when citations can be <br />electronically downloaded to the AIRS system. The current AIRS system is not capable of electronic transfer. If the program is implemented <br />prior to an AIRS upgrade including this feature, citations will need to be manually entered in the AIRS system. The ongoing cost estimate <br />would increase by approximately $57,000 representing an additional .5 FTE Records Specialist A and .5 FTE Records Administrative Aide. <br />This would increase the total cost to the General Fund to approximately $69,000 and $103,000 under each respective scenario. <br />
