2 <br />$ <br />Integrating Sustainability Principles <br />Master Plan Guiding Principles <br /> Ensure safe and secure airport operations <br /> Develop ultimate airport vision <br /> Meet FAA airfield design standards <br /> Maintain high level of customer service <br /> Integrate sustainable development <br /> Make financially feasible investments <br /> Establish highest and best land uses <br /> Eliminate/mitigate land use conflicts <br />An ASHRAE Level 1 Energy Audit was performed on the Airport administration, air cargo, snow removal equipment storage, and airport terminal buildings to identify opportunities for energy use reductions and energy efficiency investments. <br />Master planning efforts include a Solar Energy Feasibility Study to determine optimal potential locations for solar energy harvesting, ownership structure, and regulatory requirements of investment in solar infrastructure. <br />An Economic Development Study of land owned and available for lease by the Airport was performed to analyze development opportunities and identify potential challenges associated with any proposed development. <br />A Recycling, Reuse, and Waste Reduction Plan was completed to identify historic recycling practices and analyze areas where recycling and waste reduction efforts can be improved. <br />Using fleet mix and operations forecast data, Part 150 Noise Contours were updated to understand any potential noise impacts from forecast operations. <br />Inventory of Existing Conditions <br />The objective of a robust inventory is to provide contextual background information about Airport facilities and infrastructure which inform the subsequent phases of master planning analysis. Information about Eugene Airport stems from an abundance of resources including, but not limited to, previous studies and reports, on-site investigation, stakeholder interviews, and current airport records.
