The council accepted a suggestion from Ms. Bettman to add the last action priority in the goal <br />area, Identify and implement funding sources for operation, maintenance, and preservation of <br />transportation system as a work plan item to the third goal area, Prioritize available revenue and <br />resource allocation to preserve and protect infrastructure and essential assets, including <br />operation, maintenance, and preservation. <br /> <br /> 3. Prioritize Action Priorities <br /> <br />Ms. Helphand noted those items moved to the secondary list at this point. <br /> <br />Councilors ranked the action priorities, assigning individual votes to each priority. The council <br />agreed that the priority rankings did not imply that anything on the list would be dropped. <br /> <br /> 4. Wrap-up and Next Steps <br /> <br />The council reviewed the results of the priority rankings. As a result of the rankings, Adopt <br />TransPlan and begin implementation was also moved to the secondary list. Ms. Bettman <br />suggested that the items receiving four votes be moved to the secondary list. Mr. Johnson noted <br />the ongoing nature of most of those items, and suggested that was the reason they received four <br />votes. <br /> <br />The council accepted a recommendation from Mr. Farmer to maintain the EMS Redesign at the <br />action priority level to ensure that the Fire and Emegency Medical Services Department had a <br />goal-level item. <br /> <br />Mr. Johnson reviewed the next steps in the goals setting process. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 12:03 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />James R.
