Councilor Kelly, seconded by Councilor Taylor, moved to amend pages 3-28, 3-13 and <br /> the financially constrained roadway projects map in Appendix A of the September <br /> 2001 TransPlan to: <br /> 1. Revise the geographic limits for the I-5 interchange study to read <br /> "McKenzie River" instead of "Willamette River" south to 30th Avenue. <br /> <br /> 2. Add the following footnote to the description of the geographic limits on <br /> page 3-28. <br /> Inclusion of the Beltline/I-5 interchange in this study is not intended to delay the <br /> project but to incorporate the design elements from the final environmental assessment <br /> in the overall interchange study. <br /> <br />Explaining his motion to amend, Councilor Kelly said his purpose was to restore the original agreed upon <br />language to the plan. <br /> <br />In response to a comment from Councilor Papd regarding his desire to see the Coburg Interchange included, <br />Tom Schwetz noted that the Coburg Interchange had undergone an Oregon Department of Transportation <br />refinement plan process. <br /> <br /> Roll call vote; the amendment passed unanimously. <br /> <br /> Roll call vote; the motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br />City Manager Johnson asked the council to consider Council Bill 4770 by number only. <br /> <br /> Councilor Taylor, seconded by Councilor Kelly, moved that the bill be approved and <br /> given final passage.
