Consistent with the prioritization of projects in the <br />System Plan, the rate of planned park development is higher than the rate of additional land <br />acquisition. This is reflected in the LOS numbers shown in Table E-3. For example, while the <br />future LOS for acquired acreage decreases slightly for neighborhood and community parks, the <br />LOS for developed acreage increases slightly. Similarly, the LOS for trails, special facilities and <br />recreation amenities shown in Table E-3 increases, reflecting the community’s desire for these <br />services. <br />January 21, 2020, Public Hearing – Item 1Page 105
