the selection of either development team could result in desired development and new activity in the <br />West Broadway Redevelopment Area. <br /> <br />On April 12, 2007, the council received a staff memo that addressed the financial capacity of the <br />Downtown Urban Renewal District and other tools to support downtown redevelopment. On April 16, <br />2007, the council held a workshop on downtown development issues. The council heard presentations <br />from a mix of local developers and interested parties who described development opportunities, <br />challenges, and policy alternatives. On April 25, 2007, prior to this work session, the council will hold a <br />work session on the financial tools that are available to support downtown redevelopment. <br /> <br />Beam and KWG Concept Details <br />Below is a summary of the project concept details as requested by the URA for Beam and KWG.
