Section 2701.5.2 of the OFC is amended to provide: <br /> <br />2701.5.2 <br /> <br />Hazardous Materials Inventory Statement (HMIS). Where required by the fire <br />code official, an application for a permit shall include an HMIS, such as SARA <br />(Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986) Title III, Tier II <br />Report, or other approved statement. Section 2703.2.6 of the OFC is amended to provide: <br /> <br />2703.2.6 <br /> <br />Maintenance. In addition to the requirements of Section 2703.2.3, equipment, <br />machinery and required detection and alarm systems associated with hazardous <br />materials shall be maintained in an operable condition. All safety control systems <br />at a facility shall be maintained in good working condition and tested not less <br />frequently than annually. Maintenance and testing shall be performed by persons <br />qualified to perform the maintenance and tests. Maintenance records and <br />certifications shall comply with 901.5 and 901.6.2. Defective containers, cylinders <br />and tanks shall be removed from service, repaired or disposed of in an approved <br />manner. Defective equipment or machinery shall be removed from service and <br />repaired or replaced. Required detection and alarm systems shall be replaced or <br />repaired where defective. <br /> <br />19.
