These incidents could <br />affect almost every Eugene -Springfield resident which classifies the Cities' <br />vulnerability to this hazard as moderate. The area's capacity to respond to, and <br />recover from, a windstorm is also moderate. This is largely due to the frequency in <br />which these storms occur as well as the resources available to respond to them. <br />2.10.7 Risk Assessment <br />Based on the probability of future windstorms, the area's vulnerability, and capacity <br />to deal with them, the Eugene -Springfield NHMP Steering Committee determined <br />the overall risk from this hazard is high. <br />For a summary of windstorm impact risks see table 2-15. <br />2-68 January 2020 <br />
